These are the following list for EFL teachers out there it can be hard to know where to start. The resources listed here cover a wide range of bases, so whether you’re teaching beginners or advanced students, focusing on grammar or conversational English, you’re sure to find plenty of ideas. This list includes some of our favorites – feel free to share your own with us in the comments!
Lesson plans and activities
Designed
specifically for newly-qualified EFL teachers, our lesson plans packs have been
created by TEFL experts and have been tried and tested.
Created by the
British Council, Teaching English is full of resources for teaching kids,
teenagers, and adults, as well as materials and courses for professional
development. For more information about professional development for EFL

ESL Brains (formerly
Ted4ESL) publish worksheets based around various videos, including many TED
talks. You can browse lesson plans based on topic and level and if you’re
looking for some really interesting topics to spark conversation and inspire
your students this is a great site to have bookmarked!
Busy Teacher boasts
17,300 completely free, printable worksheets for EFL teachers. Whatever the
level, whatever the topic, you’ll very likely find what you need here.
Not the most
attractive or easy to navigate the website on this list, but TEFLtastic has over
2000 printable worksheets covering a range of language points and levels.
A large library of
lesson plans and flashcards, all very nicely designed. Access to ESL Library
materials isn’t free but subscriptions start from as low as under £4 a month.
Like ESL Library,
One Stop English is a subscription service priced at £42 annually. It has a
database of over 9000 resources, with new materials, added weekly.
You can find lots of
information about TEFL in general over on TEFL.net, including job adverts,
information about courses and lesson plans as well!
Others
It’s not always
practical – or possible – to print out materials and having a selection of key
books by your side in the classroom can be invaluable. Our shop features a
range of incredibly useful books, all recommended by our TEFL experts,
including grammar books you’ll keep with you throughout your career, texts
focused on pronunciation, lesson planning, and more.
A magazine for EFL
teachers, EFL Magazine publishes interesting articles written by teachers every
month and also provides a range of teaching resources.
This is a great
Twitter hashtag to check out for inspiration from other EFL teachers. There’s a lot that can be learned from looking at how other teachers use their
whiteboards so make sure to check this one out.
BBC Learning English
is a handy site to help with lesson planning, featuring a number of different
courses. This is also a great one to direct your students to as they can work
through the courses themselves, perhaps as a homework exercise.
A blog focused on
language learning in general and a great place to look for tips and tricks to
pass on to your students.
A great site for
listening exercise material – ELLO has hundreds of recorded discussions using a
variety of English accents

Utilization of efficient technology is also used as well as possible in the teaching and learning process, as with the utilization can facilitate the way teachers in communicating and interacting with students in the classroom. The utilization of technology to form a conducive and innovative classroom is actually a good learning tool in the classroom. The utilization proves to be a major role in the smoothness of teaching process in the classroom between teachers and students.
For the future, I will use webquest to deliver material , while for the quizes I use quizstar and essay marking tool which are focused on grammar . For writing skill I will use Google doc. I also expolit the best search engines which have already existed to brows something new about material which I haven't understood.
