THE BEST TOOLS FOR MAKING LESSON PLAN

Today technology has become a major driving force in our life. we rely most of our life's business on the use of technology. Ranging from making a phone call, traveling distance places, making daily food, and handling various works. we use technology at home, in the office, at schools, and everywhere. In terms of schools, Technology today has contributed so much leap that makes education today develop faster and faster. But unfortunately, technology may never be able to replace a human teacher to educate (Wright, 2013). It is the only tool that may help teachers to ease them in educating people.

For teachers and students, today there are many tools available, that may help in teaching and learning process. We have been discussing and trying some of them during this course. Yet, it will be much more useful if we can specifically learn and try the tools that will help us to better prepare to be teachers and manage the class. Managing the class is very important because better classroom management is an important component in creating an effective classroom environment (Jones, 1996: Manning & Bucher, 2012). In this session, we will look at some tools that are available on the Internet that can help us store students learning process information, communicate with students and parents, distribute quizzes, making wikis, sharing files, building class web, scheduling, etc.

The main aim of the lesson is the students are able to talk their last holiday using simple past. In this lesson, I will choose learnboost,  lesson builder and essay marking tool. Before the class will be started, I make the lesson plan using lesson builder. After that, I set and roster the class using learnboost. Furthermore, I share the materials using learnboost. While the task for this lesson, the students do exercises about the structure of simple past tense using quizstar. While their text about their last holiday using essay marking tools, so their grammatical errors will be automatically checked.

At the end of the lesson, all of the tasks and their involvement will be shown in the reporting tab of the learnboost. So, the students can check their score in that application. In the reporting tab also includes the attendance list of the students.
